Website Care
service terms.
A simple marketing website, a defined care service and a clear handover if your plans change.
1. What the package includes
A marketing website with colours, content and layout customised to the institute’s requirements within an agreed five-page scope: Home, Courses, About & Faculty, Admissions & FAQ, and Contact. The package includes a responsive mobile layout, two consolidated pre-launch revision rounds, one enquiry form, WhatsApp click-to-chat on the institute’s approved number, basic search metadata, agreed own-domain setup, hosting, monitoring, backups and a recoverable publishing history.
The included WhatsApp link opens a chat with the institute’s own WhatsApp account; the visitor chooses whether to send a message. Automated chatbots, bulk messaging and WhatsApp Business API services are separately scoped, including any provider charges. The institute retains ownership of its number and account.
Momentum, Editorial and Horizon show three possible design directions. The final design direction and page layouts are confirmed in the written scope. Additional functionality, extra pages, complex integrations and changes beyond that scope are quoted separately. Course-detail pages replace an agreed included page or are separately quoted. A self-service editor, owner workspace and marketplace are not included in Website Care.
2. Setup payments and activation
- 50% setup deposit is payable when the institute accepts a written order and scope. At the ₹7,500 setup price, the deposit is ₹3,750.
- The remaining ₹3,750 is payable after approval of the personalised preview and before public activation.
- Monthly billing begins at public activation, after the agreed website has been approved and its public address is working. A local or private design preview does not start recurring billing.
- Applicable tax, domain registration and renewal, business mailbox licences and separately scoped work are additional line items.
Completed setup work and unused portions of a paid hosting period are not automatically refunded unless separately agreed in writing or required by applicable obligations. Any agreed refund conditions must be recorded in the written order before payment.
3. Content changes and service faults
Website Care includes 30 minutes per month of client-requested changes to supplied, approved text and imagery within an existing page layout. This time does not roll over. Standard turnaround is two business days after complete approved material has been received.
Additional work is estimated and approved before it begins at ₹750/hour, billed in 30-minute increments. The service team records requested work, time spent and delivery dates.
Fixing faults in the delivered service does not consume the institute’s content-change allowance. Hosting incidents, defects and security fixes are handled separately from requests to change course copy, photographs or other institute content. Any bespoke availability or out-of-hours commitment must be separately agreed.
4. Work that needs a separate scope
Additional functionality, extra pages, redesigns after scope approval, original copywriting, complex website migrations, WordPress or custom applications, advanced integrations, advertising, campaigns, ongoing SEO work, mailbox migrations and bulk marketing email are separately scoped. Assessment software, learner services and usage charges are separate products.
The institute supplies accurate approved copy, programme information and assets it is entitled to publish. Testimonials, affiliations, results and staff details are published only after approval; demonstration images and fictional content are replaced or explicitly identified before any real customer launch.
5. Independent products and billing
A website can be purchased without an assessment subscription, learner account or cohort. Website and assessment subscriptions retain independent entitlements, payment status, cancellation dates and invoice lines.
Cancelling or failing to pay for one product does not by itself disable the other paid product. Adding assessments later can be linked to the same customer record. A legitimate account-wide security suspension is a separate, audited action rather than a normal product cancellation.
6. Domain and email ownership
The institute remains the owner of its domain registration and business email accounts. We can assist with registration in the institute’s own account and coordinate approved DNS records for its website. A domain transfer to us is not required.
Existing email records are preserved when the website moves. Business mailbox licences and any migration are separate from website hosting. An optional student portal can use a separate hostname, such as learn.youracademy.example, under its assessment agreement.
Domain and mailbox renewals remain separately payable to the agreed provider. Cancelling website hosting does not automatically cancel an institute-owned domain or mailbox account.
7. Cancellation and the final hosting date
The institute can cancel Website Care before its next renewal. Hosting continues through the end of the paid billing period, with no further renewal after a timely cancellation. The service team confirms the final hosting date and any agreed handover window in writing.
Request export and coordinate DNS changes before that date. Any extension of hosting or additional migration work requires a separate agreement. The final date should not be left implicit in an email thread or inferred from the assessment subscription.
8. What you receive on exit
After an authorised request, the institute receives its approved website text, permitted images and documents, portable static HTML, CSS and client-side JavaScript, plus its website enquiries in CSV or JSON. This export contains no student assessment records, private reports or another institute’s data.
The export turnaround is seven business days after an approved export request. A DNS handover window is agreed separately, and the institute keeps its registrar and mailbox access.
After the setup fee has been paid, the institute receives a continuing nonexclusive licence to use its delivered website design for its own institute website. This does not grant design resale rights, rights to the shared publishing/editor system, or rights beyond any third-party font, image or software licence. Where a third-party asset cannot be transferred, it is identified for replacement or separate licensing.
The exported enquiry form may need connection to the institute’s new hosting or form service; portability of static files does not transfer our hosted email-delivery or enquiry backend.
9. Before a real order starts
Confirm the institute’s design direction, five-page scope, approved content, domain access, payment dates, public activation criteria, content-care allowance, exit package and any additional work in a written order. Service begins after those details are accepted.
